Feuerberg Rubin

BLACK BERRY - CHERRY - SOFT TANNIN
The hills of the Feuerberg vineyards are composed of sandy soil which is perfect for red grape varieties. Blended from St. Laurent, Cabernet Sauvignon and Dornfelder grapes, this wine bursts with blackberry and fresh cherry flavours. The round palate is packed with summer fruits and soft tannin. If you like easygoing red wines, this is what we can highly recommend!
A little background on the inspiring vineyard this wine comes from:
The Lebenshilfe Winery makes beautiful organic wine and has a beautiful story. Lebenshilfe means “life help” and is a foundation to support intellectual disabled adults and kids in Germany. They take their environmental and social responsibilities to heart by running a shop selling locally made products and even employing a team of 35 adults with special needs to work with the winemakers.
The very cute wine label was hand-drawn by a disabled woman who worked for the vineyard in the 80s. The simple crayon drawing visualizes the essentials of winemaking: sun, vines, soil, and a happy farmer.
