BRDX - Clairet

Strawberry - Mint - Vanilla Danish
Clairet walks the line between red wine and rosé. In contrast to a full red wine, it was only briefly fermented with the grape skins before being pressed and processed further. This tequnique is where the name comes from as it refers to the light colour. Because of the short contact with the red grape skins not as much color is extracted as in classic red wine making. Compared to a "regular" rosé, on the other hand, it sparkles a little darker in the glass with a bit more power and body. Long story short: This Clairet has flavours with a delicious mix of berries, a refreshing touch of mint, and delicious creaminess. A wine that is best sipped in the afternoon alongside a delicious lunch.
