Die Burg (The Castle) Riesling was created with the best grapes of the best lot at the beautiful old terrace vineyard location of Wachtenburg. It's a special dry late harvest wine from a single vineyard. In this wine, you can find the full ripeness of yellow fruits with a warm body. This outstanding Riesling is ready to drink now but it has surely a long ageing potential.
A little background on the inspiring vineyard this wine comes from:
The Lebenshilfe Winery makes beautiful organic wine and has a beautiful story. Lebenshilfe means “life help” and is a foundation to support intellectual disabled adults and kids in Germany. They take their environmental and social responsibilities to heart by running a shop selling locally made products and even employing a team of 35 adults with special needs to work with the winemakers.
