In the east of Spain, below Catalonia, lies the somewhat lesser-known wine-growing region of Valencia. This is home for the Bodega el Angosto vineyard. While the vineyard has only been producing wine since 2005, the Cambra family has been growing grapevines on the property for over 100 years. The winemaking business began when the son decided to take the family’s expert knowledge of vine breeding and apply it to the exciting world of winemaking. Since then he has made a name for his wines but always keeps in touch with the family’s grapevine growing roots. Bodega el Angosto has a treasure chest of different grape varieties, both typical and exotic, which allows them to create modern wines with a unique style for an affordable price.
