With the Weinhaus Franz Hahn, Yvonne and Martin Hochdörffer have revived an old business in a modern way. As the name already suggests (vineHOUSE not vineYARD), they structure their operations a bit different than the usual. Instead of producing or growing their own grapes they buy them from the experts. But that certainly doesn’t mean they’ll take any old fruit; they work closely with the winegrowers who also happen to be friends and family. So, they have significant influence and control on the grapes, but more importantly, they can concentrate solely on their true passion: working in the cellar. They particularly love making unique cuvées but still give a whole lot of attention to their single grape varieties. Give their wines a try and taste the passion for yourself.
