Monkey 47 is based on the eccentric Gin-recipe of a former RAF wing commander called Montgomery Collins. His life as a diplomat´s son in India, his military career in destroyed Berlin and his years spent in the Schwarzwald (Black Forest) are the biographical backgrounds for Monty`s eccentric Gin recipe. Monkey 47 is a bold combination of local herbs and berries from the Black Forest mixed with exotic botanicals from all over Asia. A batch distilled and unfiltered Gin which combines British tradition, exotic ingredients from India​ and the immaculate craftsmanship in distilling from the Black Forest are masterfully combined.
